Standards
All websites macsvision design and build follow these standards.
Your standards
It's your business and your site so macsvision will design and build a site to enhance your business practices and standards you have already established.
If you are starting out with a new site or revamping an existing site we can help with your branding and presentation as we have years of management experience in this field.
No matter which option applies we will consult with you throughout the entire time of our involvement in the project.
Generally a special page template is hand crafted for each client so that all your pages show up with the same Style, Presentation and Format - you are not restricted to a preset template.
The site Content can easily be added to or updated. If you advise changes by phone you can even watch instant page update.
World Wide Web Consortium Standards (W3C.org)
This is a formal set of standards that all future web developments have to comply with so that the web advances in the same way.
This benefits your site as all internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera and others comply with these standards.
This means that what you present on your site will show as intended no matter what computer, mobile or other device your customer is using.
We use CSS Level Two (Cascading Style Sheets) and XHTML (Extensible HyperText Markup Language) to ensure full compliance (there are links at the foot of all pages on this site).
Usability And Accessibility Standards
To maximise potential your site will be designed bearing in mind the limitations posed by customers who may have visual and hearing or mouse and keyboard handling disabilities.
Search Engine Optimisation
More people visiting your site maximises your potential for future trade.
Search engines such as Live Search (preinstalled on Internet Explorer) or Bing - also from Microsoft, Google (installed with Firefox) and Yahoo will probably attract most of your visitors.
Using HTML to create a website, as we do rather than ASP (active server pages) and PHP (Personal Home Pages) allows your site to appear higher on web searches such as Google natural listings. Many ASP or PHP sites cannot get their pages listed at all without having to pay for promotion.
Following all the above rules helps us achieve our aim of making your site ranking position as high as possible. If we do have to bend the rules to include external forms such as hotel bookings or shopping carts, please note that your site ranking may be compromised.
